Crowden information

How to get there?

Crowden is best reached by your own transport since there are limited options for public transport. There is a First Group bus service that goes along the road so could drop you off at the start. The bus services are minimal at the moment so you’d need to research beforehand.

Where to park?

Crowden car park, Woodhead Road, Glossop, SK13 1HZ – Google pin (Please note due to the remote area the postcode might not take you to the exact location – we recommend using the Google pin for directions).

The Crowden car park is a small free car park, but it’s not too popular so you shouldn’t find a problem getting a space.

Toilet facilities

There are no public toilets

Where to eat and drink?

There are no options at Crowden at the moment. Previous Crowden Campsite had a small shop but this has been closed since March and plans to re-open in 2021.
